Poroshenko hands over large batch of equipment to Special Operations Forces units while in Sumy region

Petro Poroshenko handed over FPV drones, electronic warfare equipment, and Starlinks for cars to the Special Operations Forces units fighting on the border of Sumy region.

"There are military personnel whose faces cannot be 'exposed' because their work is always classified, and enemy agents are constantly hunting them. Today we came to visit our friends - the Special Operations Forces units serving on the border of Sumy region. Every day, risking their lives, they carry out complex operations 'under the noses' of the Russians or in the enemy rear," the leader of European Solidarity notes.

"Every combat mission is secret and planned in detail. It is the SOF soldiers who plan and carry out raids, evacuate prisoners or hostages, and develop a network of agents. I am proud that my signature as Supreme Commander-in-Chief is on the decree on the creation of this military branch," Poroshenko recalled.

This time, Poroshenko's team closed the requests of the Special Operations Forces and shipped to the soldiers a washing and shower complex, a mobile auto repair shop, 400 FPV drones, five Mavic drones, six Shatro electronic warfare systems, 10 charging stations, three dozen Starlink systems, generators, diesel heaters, and Vanilla Sugar drone detectors.

"These are real heroes, but today they need our help. It has been three months since we began very broad support for the Special Operations Forces. Each assault regiment receives more than a hundred FPV drones, night Mavics, and day Mavics. We continue to supply the troops with washing and shower complexes. And a very scarce item is a mobile auto repair shop," says Poroshenko.

Starlink systems adapted for mounting on vehicles were brought especially for the Special Operations Forces. "This will provide us with communication anywhere. Wherever you are, you have a stable connection. Even if we are driving on public roads, it is not always possible to communicate via the Internet. And secure communication is very important now," says the SOF fighter.

In total, during his trip to Sumy region, Poroshenko transferred equipment and drones to 18 brigades worth UAH 37 million.
