Zelenskyy: If we start moving according to Victory Plan now, we may be able to end war no later than next year

Most of the points of the Victory Plan are calculated in time; if we start moving forward with the document now, it will be possible to end the war no later than next year, said Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

"The urgency of the implementation of the Victory Plan is right now. These are points, most of which are calculated in time. If we start moving according to this Victory Plan now, we may be able to end the war no later than next year," Zelenskyy said during the presentation of the Victory Plan to deputies and the Ukrainian community in the Verkhovna Rada.

The President emphasized that Ukraine is with all who feel the pain of war. According to him, in such names as Pokrovsk, Vovchansk, Kharkiv, Sumy, Orikhiv, Zaporizhia, Kherson, as well as Donetsk, Luhansk, Crimea, - not only the fate of Ukraine sounds, but also the fate of the Baltic countries, Finland, Poland, Georgia, Moldova, the Balkans, and the countries of Central Asia.

"And countries from other regions of the world that are far from you and me in Ukraine, but very close to our partners - this applies to Libya, Syria, and the countries of the Sahel region. The battles that Ukrainians are now fighting for their independence are deciding whether the world will plunge into even more wars," Zelenskyy noted.

According to him, the Russian Federation and its accomplices want more wars. "They are learning. The more time they have to learn to bear ruins, the more the world will subsequently pay for the right to peace," the head of state emphasized.

At the same time, he added that for partners to help Ukraine now is to ensure that the rules-based order is preserved in the world.

"If Russia's war against Ukraine ends at the Peace Summit and on the basis of international law, this will convince other potential aggressors not to start wars," Zelenskyy said.

At the same time, he said, if Vladimir Putin achieves his crazy geopolitical, military, ideological and economic goals, then it will create an irresistible impression among other potential aggressors, "particularly in the Gulf region, in the Indo-Pacific and in Africa, that wars of conquest can be beneficial for them too."

The President concluded that the fate of the next decades is determined by the actions of the global coalition in defense of Ukraine and international law.
