Poroshenko sends new batch of vehicles, FPV drones, electronic warfare to front
The leader of the European Solidarity party, businessman Petro Poroshenko has sent to the front another batch of equipment for the Armed Forces of Ukraine worth over UAH 30 million, including vehicles, FPV drones, Tsukorok detectors, and electronic warfare, the political force said on its website on Wednesday.
"Today, you see here the drone detectors. Those who have been waiting for Tsukork – the time has come. Maviks that are used not only for reconnaissance, but also to drop [shells] and destroy the enemy. Molfar and Hunter drones, named in honor of my friend, battalion commander, a Hero of Ukraine with the call sign "Hunter". We have already delivered 35,000 of them, and purchased 40,000," Poroshenko said.
At the same time, he noted that the government purchased only UAH 225,000 drones for UAH 40 billion of public funds.
"Imagine that we have purchased almost 20% of what the government purchased. We are not going to put up with this. Because every day of delay means additional risks for our military," said the politician, who earlier criticized the draft state budget for 2025 and noted that the funds of the military levy should be used exclusively for the needs of the army.
"I really hope that the state, even in these challenging times, will learn from us. Because volunteers are dwindling, people are getting poorer, donation opportunities are shrinking. And the number of applications is growing like an avalanche. This means that the state must work more efficiently," Poroshenko said.
