Netherlands announces new package for Ukraine worth EUR 210 mln to restore critical infrastructure
The Netherlands announced a new support package for Ukraine in the amount of EUR 209.5 million, aimed at restoring critical infrastructure, said Dutch Foreign Minister Caspar Veldkamp.
"The Netherlands has announced a new EUR 209.5 million support package, aimed at restoring critical infrastructure - including via EBRD - and providing humanitarian aid. We are contributing EUR 45 million to the Ukraine Energy Support Fund, and are funding the delivery of essential equipment," the minister wrote on the social network X following the G7+ ministerial meeting in New York.
Veldkamp also said that Ukrainians are preparing for one of the harshest winters, and in order for "Ukraine to endure, it needs energy."
"At today's meeting with G7 Foreign Ministers and partners, including Ukraine's Andriy Sybiha, I stressed that we must join forces to provide this," the minister noted.
