Poroshenko transfers three more Ai-Petri systems to Armed Forces of Ukraine
MP of Ukraine, leader of the European Solidarity party, businessman Petro Poroshenko transferred three more Ai-Petri systems to the Main Center for Counteracting Technical Intelligence Means of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the political force's website reported on Sunday.
"The counter-technical reconnaissance systems were handed over in the maximum configuration - not only with new pickups, but also with a six-dome electronic warfare system... Ai-Petri protects our units from Russian nastiness for tens of kilometers of the combat line - Orlans, Supercams, Lancets, Mavics and even from FPV drones. They cover, first of all, artillery and command posts, protect units both during defense and attack," Poroshenko said.
According to him, the technological nature of war forces us to constantly improve. "We upgrade the systems weekly, and with each innovation they perform a wider range of tasks. Ai-Petri is the most effective means of countering technical reconnaissance that is in service with the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This is our contribution to the technological nature of the army and the country's defense capability," the businessman noted.
European Solidarity reports that Poroshenko invested UAH 200 million in the development of the Ai-Petri counter-technical reconnaissance system in November 2023, after which their production was launched. Dozens of these systems are currently operating at the front.
