IAEA Director General Rafael Mariano Grossi may visit the occupied town of Enerhodar in Zaporizhia region within a week, and then come to Kyiv, where Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy intends to meet with him.

"On the return of our station [Zaporizhia NPP]. I believe that today there are only political steps. And, unfortunately, they are not enough, otherwise the station would have already returned under our control. It is safest for Ukraine to control Zaporizhia station. And so far, from the point of view of the battlefield, I do not see any possibilities, and those possibilities that probably exist are dangerous," Zelenskyy said at a briefing in Zaporizhia.

The president said Ukraine is communicating at all venues about the need to politically return Zaporizhia NPP.

"As for who is doing this [returning Zaporizhia NPP], IAEA Director Grossi is doing it. I can't tell you the final details, because I think he should be at Zaporizhia NPP within a week, he should be in Enerhodar, and then he should come to Kyiv. I will have a meeting with him," Zelenskyy said.

According to him, Ukraine is constantly working on rotating IAEA teams.
