Police report two injured civilians in enemy missile attack on Sumy

Two civilians were injured as a result of Russia's missile attack on Sumy last night, the National Police of Ukraine has said.

"Two people sustained injuries, ten cars, two multi-apartment buildings, and the building of a shopping mall were damaged in the attack. All relevant services are working on the spot," the medial liaison department of the police in Sumy region said.

Police investigators launched a criminal case under Article 438 (violation of the laws and customs of war) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

In the early hours of Saturday, enemy aircraft attacked Sumy. As a result of the missile strike, ten cars caught fire at the parking lot near multi-apartment buildings, windows were broken by a blast wave, the facades of the houses and other buildings were damaged, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine said on Saturday morning.

The occupation forces shelled seven communities of Sumy region last night and in the morning, using missiles and guided air bombs. One person was injured in the attacks.
