The defense forces, along with the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) and the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Defense Ministry of Ukraine (GUR), conducted an operation on the Morozovsk military airfield in Russia to "clear" it from the air defense, aircraft and warehouses with guided air bombs, the Interfax-Ukraine News Agency learned from an informed source.

"Last night, the SBU's drones visited the Morozovsk airfield in Rostov region. Enemy air defense, aircraft and warehouses with guided air bombs, which are used by Russia to level Ukrainian cities to the ground, were deployed there. The special operation was conducted jointly with GUR and defense forces," the source said.

Ukrainian drones did "excellent" job to hit the warehouse with aircraft munitions.

"Detonation was so powerful that the locals lacked swear words to describe their impressions from the scale of explosions and the 'cotton' [explosions in Russia] blossom the saw. The Russian local authorities are trying to conceal the strike against the military target, reporting a fire at some storage facilities," the source said.

In addition to the airfield, Ukrainian drones hit the Gubkinskaya oil depot in Belgorod region, the source said. Russian social media reported a series of explosions and a fire on the territory of the air base, as well as operation of the air defense.

Russian media reported that last night "as a result of a massive drone attack, several storage facilities were damaged in the Kamensky and Morozovsk districts" in Rostov region, particularly fuel containers went on fire on the territory of oil depot No. 7 in the Kamensky district.
