Following a conversation with Minister for Strategic Industries Oleksandr Kamyshin, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced an improvement in the performance of the defense sector, in particular due to the real inflow of foreign investment.

“Today, I had a discussion with the Minister of Strategic Industries, Oleksandr Kamyshin, to analyze the performance of the ministry and our defense sector enterprises. We have achieved significant results in various areas, including armored vehicles, drones, and artillery,” Zelenskyy said in his evening video address.

In particular, according to Zelenskyy, “this sector is becoming much stronger and more efficient.”

As he stressed, “importantly, we are now seeing substantial foreign investment in our defense production, alongside state budget funds. This is a major accomplishment for us. Today, we also set new tasks for Ukroboronprom and our missile industry.”
