Ukrainian soldiers have advanced in Hluboke area in Kharkiv axis from 1 to 2 km, and are also making progress in Serebriansky forestry area in Lyman axis and in the city of Krasnohorivka in Kurakhove axis, sources in the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces told Interfax-Ukraine.

As indicated by the General Staff, in Kharkiv axis, the situation is stable in the area of ​​ settlements Vovchansk and Hluboke. Both Ukrainian military personnel and the enemy are carrying out local offensive actions.

"In Hluboke area we managed to push back the enemy. We advanced on 1 to 2 km," the interlocutor noted.

The General Staff said that the Ukrainian Defense Forces now control the western and southern parts of the settlement.

In addition, the situation in Serebriansky forestry area has been stable for a certain period of time, the Armed Forces of Ukraine emphasized.

"We are slowly moving forward in the forestry," the source said.

However, the military indicates that Pokrovsk axis remains the main direction of the enemy's attack. In Kurakhove axis, the hottest area is the city of Krasnohorivka, which the enemy has been trying to occupy for a long time. The General Staff noted that the Defense Forces are having some success there.

"We are slowly winning the territory back. However, the settlement is almost destroyed. Only ruins left. Like everywhere else the Russians have been, they are destroying everything," the Ukrainian Armed Forces stated.
