The financial result of state-owned Ukreximbank (Kyiv) for January-September 2023 amounted to UAH 3.6 billion, while it completed the same period in 2022 with a net loss of UAH 7.906 billion, the state bank’s press service reported.

“Since the beginning of the year, Ukreximbank has earned UAH 3.6 billion for the state. In September 2023, the bank received UAH 522 million in profit (in August, UAH 747 million),” states the financial institution’s website.

Ukreximbank noted that since the beginning of the year, in the structure of the operating result, 57% comes from interest income, 43% from non-interest income, which indicates the thoughtfulness and balance of its policy.

The state bank also reported that as of September 1, it ranked first in the market in terms of the volume of the loan portfolio of legal entities (more than UAH 74.2 billion) and in the volume of funds from legal entity clients (more than UAH 141.8 billion).

At the beginning of July this year, these figures amounted to more than UAH 74.6 billion and UAH 141.9 billion, respectively, the financial institution previously reported.

According to the press service, the bank continues to maintain its leading position in the loan portfolio of programs of international financial organizations, which has increased by UAH 1.7 billion since July to UAH 7.7 billion.

According to the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU), as of September 1, 2023, Ukreximbank was the third largest bank in the country in terms of assets (UAH 269.63 billion).
