The portal of the Unified State Electronic System in the Construction Sector has updated the functionality of publishing information on cost estimates for facilities being built with state or public funds, the press service of the Ministry of Restoration reports.

"From today, when uploading a construction project into the system, an automatic check for the mandatory uploading of object and local estimates as part of the estimate documentation has been added. Previously, only the total cost could be seen in the system," Minister of Communities, Territories and Infrastructure Development Oleksandr Kubrakov said.

It will be possible to get acquainted with information about this, in particular, with the estimate files in PDF format and in machine-readable format (if available) - in the appropriate section at the link: https://e-construction.gov.ua/document/optype=249

Open access to data enables the public and any interested parties to carry out audits of the expenditure of public funds for construction.

"This is not just another step towards transparency in the construction industry - this is our systematic and consistent position on the absolute openness of the restoration process," Kubrakov said.

The update was implemented in partnership with the Ministry of Communities, Territories and Infrastructure Development and the Ministry of Digital Transformation with the support of the USAID/UK aid TAPAS Project/Transparency and Accountability in Public Administration and Services.
