Ukraine pays $110 mln coupon on 2032 eurobonds – Finance ministry

 Ukraine's Finance Ministry of Ukraine on September 25, 2018 paid the second coupon for government external loan notes (eurobonds) due in 2032, the ministry's press service has told Interfax-Ukraine.

The ministry said that the total sum paid was $110 million.

As reported, Ukraine in September 2017 issued 15-year eurobonds for $3 billion, including $1.682 billion for the exchange or repurchase of eurobonds maturing in 2019 and 2020, which were issued as part of the debt restructuring in 2015 and the accrued interest on them.

New eurobonds were issued with at 7.375% per annum and the coupon is paid every six months – on March 25 and September 25.

They are repaid in equal installments in the amount of 25% of the principal on March 25 and September 25, 2031 and on March 25 and September 25, 2032.
