Trade turnover between Ukraine, U.S. increased by 70% over a year - Poroshenko at meeting with Bolton

President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko emphasizes the importance and growth of economic cooperation with the United States.

"Our turnover has increased by 70% over a little more than a year. No country in the world demonstrates such growth. And this is the implementation of my agreements at the White House last year that we reached with President Donald Trump: this is American coal at Ukrainian stations, and American nuclear fuel, investments in the construction of a plant for nuclear storage, and American agrarian investments, and a contract with General Electric. I am pleased that coal from Pennsylvania is being cerried by locomotives from Pennsylvania," he said at the beginning of the meeting with Advisor to the U.S. President for National Security John Bolton in Kyiv on Friday.

Poroshenko is convinced that there are opportunities for further expansion of cooperation with the United States.
