Ukraine, Kazakhstan speed transportation of parcels from online stores between the two countries

State-run Ukrainian postal service company Ukrposhta in June 2016 launched transportation of international clustered parcels (the service dubbed Consignment) from Ukraine to Kazakhstan.

This service will let clients faster get goods from online stores via the two countries' postal services, Ukrposhta's press service said.

"The Republic of Kazakhstan is the first country Ukrposhta has signed an agreement on the bilateral exchange of "Consignment" international clustered parcels. This new delivery service from Ukrposhta opens an opportunity for Ukrainian online stores to comfortably work at the international level, increase the number of new clients," the press service quoted Ukrposhta head Ihor Tkachuk as saying.

Ukrposhta also works with Germany, the Czech Republic, Estonia, Lithuania, Latvia, and Slovakia, offering the "Consignment" service.

Ukrposhta is subject to the Ukrainian Infrastructure Ministry. It is the national postal operator in Ukraine. As of today, it offers over 50 types of services via almost 12,000 outlets across Ukraine. Its personnel are 76,000 people, including 33,000 postmen and 12,000 postal operators.
