ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih, Zaporizhstal, ISD get largest VAT refunds in Dec 2015
The largest recipients of VAT refunds in Ukraine in December 2015 became metallurgical enterprises, the State Treasury Service has said.
In particular, ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih received UAH 1.027 billion (in November it got no refunds), Zaporizhstal got UAH 1.018 billion (UAH 188 million) and Industrial Union of Donbas (ISD) got UAH 477.9 million (no compensation in November).
According to its data, the five largest recipients of VAT refunds in December also included Kernel-Trade exporter of sunflower oil with UAH 335 million (UAH 336 million) and Pivdenny Mining and Processing Plant (GOK) with UAH 331.1 million (UAH 235.8 million).
In general, the amount of VAT refunds in December rose to UAH 9.49 billion from UAH 6.44 billion in November, UAH 6.9 billion in October, and UAH 7.6 billion in September.
The largest recipients of compensation in the past month also included Azovstal with UAH 305.4 million (UAH 560 million), Mariupol Illich steel mill with UAH 286 million (UAH 450.9 million), Dniprovsky steel mill with UAH 255.7 million (UAH 493.1 million), Myronivsky plant for cereals and animal feed production with UAH 201.7 million (no compensation in November).
