Commission for selection of Ukrtransnafta head will propose former shareholder in VikOil filling chain – source

A commission for the selection of a candidate for PJSC Ukrtransnafta's Director General will propose that Mykola Havrylenko, who was one of the shareholders in the VikOil filling chain, be appointed to the position, a source in the Ukrainian Energy and Coal Industry Ministry told Interfax-Ukraine.

"We were preparing two options of the commission's decision. One had Havrylenko with [Georgian Member of Parliament and Georgian politician] Koba Nakopia, and the other had Havrylenko alone. The latter is our choice," he said.

Havrylenko was one of the three stockholders in the VikOil filling chain, which had 118 filling stations at the moment when it was sold to TNK-BP in 2010.

As was reported, Ukrtransnafta, which is wholly owned by NJSC Naftogaz Ukrainy, is the operator of Ukraine's oil transport system.
