Ukroboronprom, Pakistan's Defence Ministry agree to sign new contracts
А delegation of state-run Ukroboronprom and senior officials of the Defence Ministry of Pakistan have agreed at the IDEAS 2014 International Defence Exhibition and Seminar at the Karachi Expo Center to sign new contracts and deepen cooperation between the two countries.
"The parties have agreed on orders literally in all the segments of the Ukrainian military-technical sector. Ukroboronprom General Director Roman Romanov, who led the Ukrainian delegates, said that nowadays plants should work to the maximum: people need to be provided with jobs and revenues of Ukraine's budget should be boosted, therefore foreign contracts will breathe even more life into the Concern," Ukroboronprom's press service said.
In addition, the Ukrainian delegation held talks with the senior officers of the Naval Forces of Kazakhstan on the earlier concluded contracts and discussed the possibility of updating them. The negotiations resulted in new orders with Ukroboronprom's Kherson-based state-run Pallada enterprise, which produces reinforced concrete floating craft.
