Mykolaiv's Zorya-Mashproekt to develop cooperation with China
State Enterprise Gas Turbine Scientific Production Complex Zorya-Mashproekt (Mykolaiv) plans to boost its cooperation with China, the press service of the enterprise has told Interfax-Ukraine.
The press service said that recently the top managers of the China State Shipbuilding Corporation (CSSC) and ChinaShipbuilding Trading Co., Ltd. (CSTC) visited Zorya-Mashproekt.
"At the talks, the sides discussed further cooperation and its promising directions. The guests also visited production facilities, assembly shops and a test station," the press service said.
The Mykolaiv enterprise has been cooperating with CSSC and CSTC since 1993. Over the period a wide range of projects on the supply of marine power units has been realized. Zorya-Mashproekt also ships equipment for the energy sector to Chinese companies.
Zorya-Mashproekt is one of the world's leaders in gas turbine construction, designing and constructing gas turbines for the marine merchant fleet and the navy, as well as for power industry and gas transport.
The company's biggest partners are Russia, India, China, Poland and Vietnam.
Since April 2011, Zorya-Mashproekt has been part of Ukroboronprom Concern.
