Comfy opens 2 new stores in Vinnytsia, Kyiv regions in Sept
Comfy, Ukraine's largest retailer of home appliances and electronics, opened two new stores in September – a flagship store in Khodosivka in Kyiv region and a new-format store for smaller towns in Mohyliv-Podilsky in Vinnytsia region, the company's press service told Interfax-Ukraine.
The opening in Khodosivka, located in the Megamarket shopping mall, continues Comfy's chain expansion in Kyiv and the surrounding region. The store features a new format with a total area of 1,000 square meters, allowing for a wide product selection and numerous demo zones and brand areas for Apple, Samsung, Sony, LG, Hisense, BOSCH, Gorenje, DeLonghi, and Tefal, as well as zones showcasing various home gadgets and accessories.
The Mohyliv-Podilsky store, with an area of 500 square meters, offers a similarly wide range of products, including demo zones for home gadgets and accessories. It also includes a modern online order pickup zone, where customers can receive their purchases in an average of two minutes using the fast-track system.
As of October 2024, Comfy operates 105 stores. Earlier, it was reported that Comfy had opened four new stores and updated 60% of its network in 2024. Five more stores are planned to open by the end of the year, alongside a complete network update.
The network is owned by Comfy Trade LLC (Dnipro), and according to the Unified State Register of Legal Entities and Entrepreneurs, the owner of Comfy Trade is Comfy Holdings Limited (Cyprus), with Svitlana Hutsul and Stanislav Ronis as the ultimate beneficiaries.
