The number of casualties caused by Russia's missile strikes against Mykolaiv this morning increased to six, the press service of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine has said.

"The enemy inflicted a strike on Mykolaiv. Reportedly, six people were injured," it said on the Telegram channel on Wednesday.

The fire that broke out as a result of the attack has been liquidated, the State Emergency Service said.

"The territory of a service station in one of the city districts caught fire, particularly its buildings and the cars parked nearby, on an area of 400 square meters," it said.

As reported, two strikes were recorded in Mykolaiv on Wednesday morning after the announcement of the threat of the use of ballistic weapons by the Russian occupation forces.

Five casualties were previously reported.
