Zelenskyy: Ukraine, Greece preparing security agreement

Ukraine and Greece have started preparing a bilateral security agreement, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said on Wednesday in Odesa at a press conference after a meeting with Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis.

"I hope that our teams will soon prepare an agreement for signing. We must record in it the achieved level of cooperation and support for this year and next. The longest cooperation gives the best results," the President of Ukraine said.

Zelenskyy also thanked Greece for its "readiness to take part in the restoration of our cultural heritage, in particular in Odesa, which has such a connection with Greek history and culture." "And Putin's hatred cannot be allowed to destroy our Odesa, our country, our Europe," he said.

Zelenskyy said Greece supports the work on the Peace Formula. "Prime Minister Mitsotakis confirmed his support and participation in the Peace Summit that we are organizing in Switzerland. It is important that Greece shows leadership in global efforts to bring a just end to this war and the full restoration of the force of international law," he said.
