Germany is sending equipment and weapons to Ukraine: the new package of military assistance includes 14,000 of 155 mm artillery ammunition, four WISENT 1 mine clearing vehicles; three mobile remote-controlled and protected mine clearance systems; some 250 demining kits, the German government said on its website on Monday.

According to the published updated list of military aid supplied to Ukraine, it also includes ten Vector reconnaissance UAVs with spare parts; some 22 anti-drone systems; some 12 SatCom terminals; four vehicles for border guards, as well as materials for neutralizing explosive objects.

The package is provided through government-funded resources from the Federal Armed Forces and Industry.

It is noted that about EUR 5 billion (2023) and about EUR 1.6 billion (2022) have already been spent on military assistance to Ukraine. An additional EUR 2.9 billion were allocated in the first two years of the war in aid that will not arrive until 2025–2028.

In total, since February 24, 2022, Germany has supplied materials from the Federal Armed Forces' stockpile worth approximately EUR 5.2 billion. Also, more than 10,000 Ukrainian soldiers underwent military training in Germany. The cost of this training currently amounts to approximately EUR 282 million.
