Ukraine, Denmark to start negotiations on security obligations – MFA

Danish Foreign Minister Lars Løkke Rasmussen has said during his visit to Mykolaiv that he and Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba agreed to start negotiations on security obligations.

“We feel responsibility to help Ukraine achieve full territorial integrity, fight the Russian invasion forces and become a full member of the EU. I discussed this with my good friend Dmytro today. And we have agreed that we will now begin specific negotiations on security commitments. We hope that in the not too distant future we will agree on a bilateral agreement between Denmark and Ukraine,” Rasmussen said at a joint press conference with his Ukrainian counterpart in Mykolaiv.

Also, according to Rasmussen, he and Kuleba discussed concrete steps on how Denmark can help Ukraine regain full control over its territories.
