Enemy fires 531 shells into Kherson region, attacks with drones; two killed, eight wounded – authorities
Russian occupation forces fired 531 shells into Kherson region in one day, killing two people, injuring seven more, and a woman was also injured due to an enemy drone attack, city authorities said.
"Over the past 24 hours, the enemy carried out 116 attacks, firing 531 shells from mortars, artillery, MLRS, tanks, aircraft and UAVs, including the Shahed-131/136 type. Two people were killed, seven more were injured," Head of Kherson Regional Military Administration Oleksandr Prokudin said in the Telegram channel.
The enemy fired 57 shells into the city of Kherson. The Russian military entered residential areas of settlements in the region; territory of factories, park and warehouse in Kherson; Shaheds attacked an administrative building and a farm in Beryslav district.
In addition, a 50-year-old woman was injured during a night drone attack in Dnipro district of Kherson. She was taken to a health facility.
Ukrainian air defense forces destroyed one Shahed-131/136 in the region.
In turn, Head of Kherson City State Administration Roman Mrochko said over the past 24 hours, Russian forces fired at populated areas of Kherson city territorial community 22 times and used 113 shells.
According to him, two men were killed and three women were moderately injured as a result of the shelling. They received medical assistance.
