Two people died and 33 were injured as a result of a missile attack in Ukraine on the morning of Monday, January 8, Deputy Head of the President's Office Oleksiy Kuleba said.

"Massive missile attack on Kryvy Rih and Kryvy Rih region. A shopping center, high-rise buildings and household, the enemy hit civilian targets. Unfortunately, there is one woman killed. One wounded. The situation is complicated by the bad weather that is raging in the region. There are many cliffs in Kryvy Rih power grids, there are blackouts, electric transport is not working. Specialists are working hard on the ground," Kuleba said on Telegram channel.

According to him, there is one death in Khmelnytsky region.

In Novomoskovsk, Dnipropetrovsk region, where 24 people were injured, according to the President's Office deputy head, private and apartment buildings were damaged, residents are being provided with the necessary assistance.

"Civilian facilities were damaged in Kharkiv. Utilities are working on the spot, liquidation of the consequences of the strike continues. Two people were injured. In the city of Zmiiv, two people were rescued from the rubble. Rescue work continues," Kuleba said.

In Zaporizhia, according to him, there are four wounded, they are receiving medical assistance.

"I am grateful to everyone who helps people, quickly puts cities and villages in order after shelling. It is not important to ignore air raid signals. The enemy is insidious and attacks civilian targets. Thanks to our military," Kuleba said.
