Defense forces destroyed 14 UAVs and one Kh-59 guided missile, which the Russians used to attack Ukraine on Monday night, the Ukrainian Air Force said.

"Due to the successful combat work of anti-aircraft missile units, mobile fire groups, Air Force aviation, in cooperation with the air defense of the Ukrainian Defense Forces, all air targets were destroyed: 13 Shahed-136/131 UAVs, one X-59 guided aircraft missile, one strike UAV (type not established)," the force said.

It is noted that on the night of October 23, Russian occupation forces made another attempt to attack the territory of Ukraine.

The enemy attacked with Shahed drones from the south (Cape Chauda, Crimea), sent them in different directions – the southern, eastern and central regions of Ukraine, and air defense worked along the route of the attack UAVs," the Air Force said.

The Kh-59 missile was used by the enemy from a Su-34 aircraft from the airspace of the temporarily occupied territory of Zaporizhia region, an unidentified drone was allegedly launched from the northern border, the Air Force said.
