President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan in Kyiv on Friday.

"Many important issues were discussed. Peace Formula. Preparations for the Global Peace Summit. Risks posed by the Russian blockade of the Black Sea grain corridor," Zelenskyy said on the Telegram channel.

According to the presidential press service, during the meeting, the head of state noted Turkey's continued and consistent support for Ukraine, as well as diplomatic efforts of its leadership, primarily President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, aimed at ending the war and restoring stability and security in the Black Sea region. He also noted the importance of the Turkish President's address to the participants of the 3rd Summit of the International Crimea Platform.

"We heard very important signals of support for our territorial integrity and sovereignty. It is important that President Erdoğan addressed us with the words that Crimea is Ukraine," Zelenskyy said.

The parties paid special attention to the state of implementation of the Ukrainian Peace Formula and preparations for the global summit on its implementation.

"Turkey has become one of the first leaders of the Peace Formula. We count on the further active role of the Republic of Turkey in its implementation," the president said.
