Russians continue to attack Odesa region's port infrastructure; six people injured

This night, Russian occupiers attacked the port infrastructure of Odesa region with Iranian Shahed-type attack drones, three of which were destroyed. Preliminarily, four injured port employees are reported, Colonel of the Pivden (South) Operational Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) Vladyslav Nazarov said.

"The enemy continues to terrorize Odesa region. This night, an almost four-hour attack by Shahed-136 drones was directed at the port infrastructure of the Danube. Three drones were destroyed by air defense forces," he said in the Telegram message on Monday morning.

According to Nazarov, as a result of hits, a hangar with grain was destroyed, tanks for storing other types of cargo were damaged, a fire broke out in one of the production premises, which was promptly eliminated.

"It is preliminary known about four injured port employees, but the information is still being specified," he said.

Later, Head of the regional military administration Oleh Kiper said the number of victims as a result of the attack had increased to six.

"As a result of the night attack, six people were injured. Four wounded were hospitalized in the regional hospital, one of whom was in a state of moderate severity, closer to serious. The doctors managed to stabilize the patient. The other three had minor shrapnel wounds and body bruises," Kiper said on Telegram on Monday morning.
