President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky instructed the Cabinet of Ministers to develop a procedure for officials to cross the border, according to which only a real business trip can be the basis for leaving.

"I signed several decrees today. There is a fundamental decision of the National Security and Defense Council on the departure of officials abroad. This applies to all officials of the central government, various other levels of local authorities. This applies to law enforcement officers, deputies, prosecutors and everyone who should work for the state and in the state. If they want to rest now, they will rest outside the state service," Zelensky said in an evening video.

He said: "Officials will no longer be able to travel abroad on vacation or for any other non-state purpose."

In this regard, according to the president, within five days the Cabinet of Ministers must develop such a procedure for crossing the border by officials, so that only a real business trip could be the basis.
