Eighty-nine residents killed, 167 residential buildings damaged in Kyiv during war – Kyiv City Administration

As a result of the Russian military aggression, 89 civilians of Kyiv were killed, among them four children, 167 residential buildings were damaged, Kyiv City Administration reports.

"In Kyiv, 89 civilians were killed in 40 days of a full–scale Russian invasion, among them four children, 398 people were injured, among them 20 children," the Administration said in a message posted on the Telegram channel on Wednesday.

The report notes that since February 24, 167 residential buildings of various types, 44 schools, 26 kindergartens and one orphanage have been damaged by enemy strikes of the occupier.

Also, according to Kyiv State Administration, 11 administrative buildings were damaged.

According to the report, two sports facilities, five social facilities, 17 healthcare facilities, 10 cultural facilities, 48 transport infrastructure facilities were affected by the actions of the Russian aggressor.

"The city calls on Kyiv residents not to lose vigilance and at the first air alarm signals to go to shelter. It has become safer in Kyiv today, but there is still a threat of air attacks. Those who have left the capital are asked to refrain from returning for the time being," the message says.
