Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Ruslan Stefanchuk clarified his position on his supposedly circulated opinion about his attitude towards NATO.

"The 'betrayal' taken out of context and generously disseminated by the information channels of some political forces, I consider it a hopeless attempt by certain political figures to remind about themselves. It is a war for some, and it is PR for others," Stefanchuk wrote on Facebook on Saturday.

He stressed that today Ukraine is trying to find the best option for security guarantees.

"There is a search for different options, both within existing formats and by creating new ones. Therefore, commenting on this issue on air #UATogether, I proceeded from the fact that the Rada participation in the negotiation process is inevitable and decisive. And it is the Rada that will approve all those proposals that will be submitted to it for consideration. And then the appropriate decision will be made. According to all rules and regulations. But the Rada will make the decision," Stefanchuk summed up.

Stefanchuk reportedly said on Friday that formulation on the state's Euro-Atlantic aspirations would be made after talks to end the war are over.
