The Armed Forces of Ukraine and other subdivisions of the Defense Forces continue to strike at the groupings of enemy troops who were trying to hold the lines they captured, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reports.

During the day, the Ukrainian defenders destroyed several columns of occupiers' equipment in Mykolaiv and Sumy regions, the enemy losses are still being specified. In addition, the Ukrainian military destroyed commander of the 8th All-Military Army of the Southern Military District of the Russian Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Andrey Mordvichev.

Dead and wounded servicemen of the Russian Armed Forces continue to be brought in from Ukraine. In the Belarusian city of Gomel, all medical institutions with surgical departments are involved in receiving and treating wounded invaders.
