The Ministry of Energy of Ukraine has transferred about UAH 250 million to pay the salaries to coalminers, Energy Minister Herman Haluschenko has said.

"On March 1, 2022, the Ministry of Energy ensured the transfer of salaries to coalminers in the amount of UAH 247.2 million," he wrote on his Facebook on Wednesday.

At the same time, he said that the funds would be received by coalminers as quickly as possible, taking into account the operation schedule of the treasury service.
