Nova Poshta allocates another UAH 10 mln to fight COVID-19 in rural hospitals

Nova Poshta has allocated another UAH 10 million to help hospitals in small towns and charitable foundations that provide targeted assistance to patients with COVID-19.

The press service of the company said these funds will be used to purchase oxygen equipment and other medical supplies.

"Now we see that the number of diseases is growing again, and in hospitals there is an acute problem with a shortage of medical equipment that provides oxygen to patients. Therefore, we have allocated additional funds and have already purchased oxygen bags and concentrators for them to support the cities. And we also want to help where it is most needed - hospitals in small towns and villages. Hundreds of thousands of Ukrainians live in them, but the attention of organizations and foundations to them is several times lower. If you know how you can help such hospitals, tell us, and we will do our best to solve this problem," co-founder of Nova Poshta Inna Popereshniuk said.

It is reported that at the end of last week the company has already purchased and delivered the first batch of aid: 120 oxygen concentrators and 100 oxygen bags were delivered to charitable foundations in Kyiv (Svoyi Charity Foundation), Odesa (Monsters Corporation) and Lviv (Kryla Nadiyi). They provide oxygen equipment for free use to those who need it, especially people at home.

As reported, to date, Nova Poshta has already allocated UAH 48 million for the fight against coronavirus.
