Russian-occupation forces in Donbas violate ceasefire seven times, nine soldiers wounded – JFO HQ

Russian-occupation forces violated the ceasefire in Donbas seven times over the past day in the area of the Joint Force Operation (JFO), nine soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were wounded, the JFO press center said.
"Over the past day, on March 1, in the area of the Joint Force Operation, the armed formations of the Russian Federation violated the ceasefire seven times. Near Pavlopil, as a result of the explosion of a military vehicle on an unknown explosive device, one serviceman of the Armed Forces of Ukraine received a combat wound, and eight more soldiers received a combat injuries," the headquarters said on Facebook.
It is noted that the fighters were promptly taken to the hospital, where they were provided with proper medical assistance by military doctors.
In the area of responsibility of the Skhid (East) task force, not far from the settlement of Vodiane in the Azov Sea region, the occupation forces opened aimed fire from automatic easel grenade launchers, and at Pavlopil 'and Krasnohorivka, also from heavy anti-tank grenade launchers. In addition, near Krasnohorivka, the occupation forces fired at the Ukrainian positions from large-caliber machine guns. Near Nevelske, the enemy fired in the direction of the Ukrainian positions from small arms.
In the area of responsibility of the Pivnich (North) task force near the settlement of Luhanske, the occupation forces twice opened fire from grenade launchers of various systems and large-caliber machine guns.
Near Bohdanivka, the enemy carried out targeted shelling of Ukrainian positions from automatic easel and hand-held anti-tank grenade launchers.
The soldiers of the Armed Forces opened fire on the shelling of the enemy.
"The main goal of the actions of the Russian-occupation forces remains to provoke the Armed Forces of Ukraine to open return fire, followed by accusations of violating the ceasefire. In cases, the enemy fired at our positions simultaneously with a request for silence, allegedly due to shelling from the Ukrainian Armed Forces," the headquarters said.
The Ukrainian side of the JCCC took response measures within the coordination mechanism through the OSCE SMM for all the facts of the violations recorded.
"The armed formations of the Russian Federation continue to impede the work of the OSCE SMM. On February 28, the Mission's mini UAV was influenced near the village of Yasynuvata. While patrolling territories not controlled by the government of Ukraine, the OSCE SMM recorded 12 pieces of weapons and military equipment that were deployed with violations installed withdrawal lines and 16 units of weapons and military equipment along the withdrawal lines, but outside the designated storage areas," the headquarters said.
It is noted that the Ukrainian side of the JCCC again records violations by the occupation forces of the requirements to ban engineering work in the area of the contact line.
