Russia-occupation forces violate ceasefire regime nine times in Donbas over past day with no casualties reported - JFO HQ

Over the past day, Russia-occupation forces in Donbas have violated the ceasefire regime nine times, with Ukrainian servicemen reported as not injured, the press center of the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) headquarters said.

"Over the past day, on December 22, nine violations of the ceasefire regime were recorded in about three settlements in the area of the Joint Forces Operation. No combat losses or injuries were recorded among our defenders," the JFO staff said in its morning update on Facebook on Wednesday morning.

In the area of responsibility of the operational-tactical group Skhid (Vostok), the mercenaries again used prohibited weapons and applied 122-caliber artillery systems against the Ukrainian defenders near Vodiane, in Pryazovia area. In the same direction, the enemy opened fire several more times, but this time from grenade launchers of various systems and made remote mining of the terrain with POM-2 mines in the amount of eight units using PKM-1.

In the area of responsibility of the operational-tactical group Pivnich (North), the mercenaries used 120 and 82 caliber mortars not far from Luhanske and Yuzhne (Pivdenne), and in Yuzhne they also fired from large-caliber machine guns and small arms.
