President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko has sent his commissioner for Crimean Tatar people, MP Mustafa Dzhemilev to participate in the sixth congress of the ruling Justice and Development Party of Turkey, Ukraine's parliamentarian, chairman of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people Refat Chubarov has said.

"On August 18, 2018, the Sixth Congress of the ruling Justice and Development Party of Turkey (Adalet ve Kalkınma Partisi - AKP) was held in Ankara, which was founded by President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan. President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko has sent an authorized representative of the president of Ukraine on affairs of the Crimean Tatar people, Ukraine's parliamentarian, leader of the Crimean Tatar people Mustafa Dzhemilev, as his own representative for participation in the work of the sixth Congress of AKP," Chubarov wrote on his Facebook page.

According to him, Dzhemilev also handed a personal message from Ukrainian president to President of Turkey Erdogan.

Chubarov also informed that the Russian delegation was headed by the State Duma Chairman Vyacheslav Volodin to participate as guests.
