Russia using various means to destabilize Ukraine, including political murders

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Pavel Klimkin has said that it is too early to make conclusions who is behind the murder of Russian opposition journalist Arkady Babchenko, but the Kremlin earlier resorted to various means of destabilizing the situation in Ukraine, including political murders.
"It is too early to say who is behind it [the murder of Babchenko]; however, the understanding of similar cases makes us think that Russia is also using other tactics to destabilize Ukraine, in particular carrying out terrorist attacks, sabotage activity and political murders," Klimkin said at a UN Security Council briefing on Ukraine on Tuesday, May 29.
He added that Ukraine's law enforcement bodies had already started investigative actions.
"Before arriving in Ukraine, he was forced to leave Russia. After attacks and threats against him and his family, he went to Prague and then to Kyiv. He continued to fight for a democratic Russia, for Ukraine and, of course, Moscow has always viewed him as an enemy," Klimkin said.
