Ukrainian Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman expects the Verkhovna Rada to adopt a draft law on the creation of an Anti-Corruption Court during the next two plenary weeks (May 14-25).

"I very much hope that during the next two plenary weeks the Ukrainian parliament will make a final decision on the establishment of an independent Anti-Corruption Court," he said during the opening of the Open Government Week in Kyiv on Monday.

In addition, Groysman expressed hope that the Verkhovna Rada would after all abolish electronic income declaration for public activists engaged in anti-corruption activities.

As reported, Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko expressed confidence that the creation of the Anti-Corruption Court would be completed in the first half of 2018, possibly in May.
