Ukraine's army HQ reports 30 enemy attacks on its positions in Donbas
Russia's hybrid military forces have mounted 30 attacks on Ukrainian army positions in Donbas in the past 24 hours, the press center for the headquarters of Ukraine's military operations in Donbas has reported.
"Over the past day, militants of Russian-occupation forces carried out 30 shelling attacks on the positions of Ukrainian defenders. The enemy continues to violate the Minsk agreements by using prohibited weapons," the press center of the headquarters of Ukraine's military operations reported on Facebook on Monday morning.
In the Luhansk sector, the militants fired proscribed 120mm mortars at the Ukrainian fortified positions near the villages of Novhorodske and Luhanske. In addition, the invaders used 82mm mortars near the villages of Novhorodske, Novoselivka and Troyitske, grenade launchers of various systems near Troyitske, Luhanske and Novoselivka. Heavy machine guns were used against the defenders of Luhanske and Troyitske, as well as cannons of infantry fighting vehicles and small arms against the Ukrainian positions near Novhorodske.
In the Donetsk sector, the Ukrainian fortified positions near the village of Talakivka came under fire from 82mm mortars, grenade launchers, heavy machine guns, and small arms. The invaders also used grenade launchers of various systems and small arms against the defenders of the towns of Avdiyivka and Maryinka, Butovka coal mine, and the village of Vodiane, heavy machine guns near the town of Krasnohorivka, and the villages of Pavlopil, Hnutove and Shyrokyne, and small arms near the village of Kamianka. Moreover, a sniper was active near the villages of Pavlopil and Novotroyitske.
"No Ukrainian soldiers were killed or wounded in action," the report said.
