President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko and German Federal Chancellor Angela Merkel are currently holding talks in Berlin, press secretary of the Ukrainian president Svyatoslav Tsegolko has said.

"The president is negotiating with German Chancellor Angela Merkel," Tsegolko wrote on Twitter on Tuesday.

He illustrated his message with a photo of Poroshenko and Merkel greeting each other.
