Davos WEF attendees included 6 Ukrainian MPs, whose trips were not covered by parliament

The trip of six Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine deputies to the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland was not paid for by parliament or the MPs themselves, parliament's administration has told the Kyiv-based Interfax-Ukraine news agency.

According to information received, MPs Viktoria Voitsitska, Iryna Gerashchenko, Maria Ionova, Oleksiy Mushak, Oleksiy Riabchyn, and Olena Sotnyk listed the venue as a working trip.

MPs Anton Gerashchenko and Mustafa Nayyem attended the forum, but did not report it as a working trip.

Nayyem said on his Facebook page that he was invited by the Young Global Leaders organization, which is a non-commercial entity created by the forum's President Klaus Schwab in 2004. He added that the International Renaissance Foundation paid for airfare and living expenses.
