Justice Ministry establishes state-run enterprise 'House of Justice'

Ukraine's Ministry of Justice has established the state-run enterprise House of Justice (Kyiv), which will be engaged in the project titled "Online House of Justice."

According to the information in the state register, Oleksiy Oleshko was appointed the acting general director of the new state-run enterprise, who worked as deputy director general on the software issues of another state-run enterprise National Information Systems (NIS), established by the Ministry of Justice in 2015, which is the administrator of the unified and state registers, where the Ministry of Justice acts as a holder.

The authorized capital of the enterprise is UAH 10,000.

"Online House of Justice" project was presented by Justice Minister of Ukraine Pavlo Petrenko at the end of February this year as a single online medium providing services to the public on registration, access to registries and other services of the Justice Ministry.

At this stage, the "On-line House of Justice" declares the possibility of receiving repeated documents on civil registration of births, deaths, marriages, divorces, name changes and relevant extracts from the State Register of Civil Status Acts, as well as state registration of a public organization with the status of a legal entity and submission of documents for business registration.

Oleshko said at a meeting with members of the European Business Association on Tuesday that it is planned to expand the list of online provided services by the end of October.

At present, the state-run enterprise NIS is indicated as the technical administrator of the "Online House of Justice" web resource on its website online.minjust.gov.ua. Its partners are Swiss technical assistance programs, Eastern Europe and Renaissance Foundations.
