Lithuania's 'Marshall Plan' lays down fundamental approach to overcoming Ukraine's problems – Groysman

Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman believes Lithuania's 'Marshall Plan' for Ukraine lays down a fundamental approach to overcoming Ukraine's problems.

"I would like to emphasize the importance of the initiative that came out of your parliament. I am talking about the new 'Marshall Plan' for Ukraine. We believe that this is a very fundamental approach, very true, which can be very successful in overcoming the problems in Ukraine and in restoring all the areas of life in our country," the prime minister said at a meeting with Speaker of the Seimas of Lithuania Viktoras Pranckietis in Kyiv on Thursday.

According to the prime minister, such a plan can help in modernizing the country.

The Ukrainian-Lithuanian 'Marshall Plan' project for Ukraine was presented in European institutions and will be studied by the European Commission, Head of the Ukrainian Delegation to the EU Mykola Tochytsky said earlier.
