Groysman, Biden summarize cooperation between Ukraine, U.S. under Obama

On Monday, a meeting of Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman with U.S. Vice President Joseph Biden took place, during which the parties have summed up cooperation with the U.S. under the leadership of the Administration of outgoing President Barack Obama and discussed the progress of Ukraine on the path of reforms and further cooperation.

"I want to assure you that my government and I, as a prime minister, are not going to stop on the way of changes in the country. We will continue following the path of reforms that will bring peace, stability and tranquility to our country. We will be doing everything to ensure that the efforts, that have been made and are being made, will lead us to success. I know that the changes, we are performing, will be the best contribution to the success of our country," the press service of the Ukrainian government quoted Groysman on Monday.

The prime minister stressed the readiness of Ukraine and the country's leadership for the further development of strategic partnership with the U.S. He stressed the importance of U.S. assistance for the transformation of Ukraine in key areas, including: reform of the Customs Service, the fight against corruption, conducting of decentralization and energy security support.
