Rada to adopt ten laws on decentralization in nearest future - Zubko

Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Regional Development, Construction, Housing and Utilities Services Hennadiy Zubko has said about the need for adopting in the parliament ten decentralization bills in the nearest future.

"The parliament owes Ukrainians in matters of decentralization reforms by going on vacation and haven’t accepted ten key bills," Zubko said at a press conference on Monday.

The vice premier said that these bills should contribute to financial support of already established integrated territorial communities, as well as the further development of the reform.

"We demand today an aggressive position of the deputy corps in this very direction, I would say, ten steps in the direction of the Ukrainians on conducting decentralization reforms," he said.

Zubko added that two draft laws apply to the transfer of management rights on lands to the territorial communities. In addition, the bills relate to the possibility of unification of communities that are located in different administrative areas, as well as the draft law, which regulates the possibility of joining the new settlements to the existing joint communities.
