Odesa regional administration asks Allseeds to stop regional authorities discrediting campaign in media

Odesa Regional Administration has asked managers of Allseeds Black Sea LLC to stop a mass media campaign aimed at discrediting regional authorities in connection with the non-provision of documents for the water land utilization project for construction of berths at Yuzhny seaport (Odesa region), the press service of Odesa Regional Administration has reported, referring to the statement of Deputy Head of Odesa Regional Administration for Investment and Development Oleksandr Borovik.

The official said that Allseeds Black Sea asked Odesa Regional Administration to support its investment project at Yuzhny port and accelerate the agreeing of the water land utilization project for construction of berths at the port. However, it was established that ownership rights to land parcels in the port's water area belong to other persons and the parcels are located in the way that it is impossible to utilize land that Allseeds wants to obtain.

"We’ve tried to persuade private owners for several months to find a compromise with Allseeds and provide an optimal corridor to the water area to the company, although it was a failure. They do not want to do this, and we don’t have the right to force them to do this. Allseeds has launched a campaign in media, accusing us of playing on one side with their rivals. Allseeds has not provided servitude agreements signed with adjacent land users that it is possible to build roads to the land parcel where the company plan to build berths. The company has not provided any other conditions for obtaining the land parcel. Taking this into account, we cannot provide a permit to draw up the land utilization project. I believe that it is fairly and transparently. I ask managers and owners of Allseeds in public to stop the unjustifiable campaign in media and journalists to come to use at any time and get comments on the matter," Borovik said.
