On Monday noon illegal armed formations with 82-mm mortars and grenade launchers shelled the village of Vodyane of Volnovasky district of Donetsk region, which is located in a 'grey zone' seven kilometers to the east of Mariupol.

"The occupants opened fire from the village of Kominternove. In general, nearly ten mines have been thrown and burst on the outskirts and streets of Vodyane," anti-terrorist operation (ATO) press centre said on Facebook on Monday.

The information about destructions and victims among the local residents following a shell attack is specified.

The press centre has reported that there are no ATO units in Vodyane, that's why this shell attack "could be viewed just as another armed provocation of Russian terrorist troops against Ukrainian defenders."

"Militants again demonstrate that security of civilians doesn't coincide with their criminal plans to seize Ukraine," says a report.
