The State Border Guard Service, in cooperation with the Prosecutor's Office, the Interior Ministry, and the State Fiscal Service in Odesa region, has uncovered an underground workshop producing fake designer goods.

"During a search the joint team found an underground workshop producing clothes with equipped 47 sewing jobs. They also found finished products, such as watches, wallets, handbags, jewelry of the Gepur brand and such well-known brands as Adidas, Dolce&Gabbana, Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Nike, Lamborghini," the press service of the State Border Guard Service has reported

In addition, officers found more than 1,000 propylene bags and an online store system. The workshop employed 30 Ukrainian citizens.

"There were no documents for the right to produce the branded goods. Now the illegal activities are being documented. Counterfeit products have been seized, the exact amount is being determined. Product samples will be sent to the official representatives of the brands for examination to confirm the illicit origin of goods and assess the damage," the report said.
